PTA

During the year, the PTA work hard to organise a range of events for our pupils and families.

Who are we?

We are a group of parent and staff volunteers who give up their time to create better learning experiences for our children through organising fund raising events and activities. This in turn improves our school and brings the whole community together. It gives our parents the opportunity to get involved in their child’s education, make a difference and have a say.

What sort of events do we run?

There has been many fundraising events and activities which we have run over the past years which include Chocolate Bingo, Fairs, Discos and cinema evenings.

However we want to try and keep things fresh and new so news ideas shared are always great.

What is the money raised spent on?

The PTA work with school to decide on how funding is spent to enrich the children’s learning further. The money collected, will be earmarked for various school improvement initiatives. Specifically, we aim to install a much-needed scooter rack after Easter, providing a secure and organized space for our students’ scooters. Additionally, the funds will contribute to other essential projects aimed at further developing our school environment and enhancing the learning experience for our children.

Why join the PTA?

Don’t be put off if you feel you cannot give your time, haven’t been asked or are unsure what’s involved. Everyone is welcome!

  • We have parents who work part-time or full time. Any time you can give is welcome. Some members come to meetings when they can, others support behind the scenes and some come and volunteer on event days.
  • Having a child at this school means you can join us. We can use any skills you have and you might also learn new ones.
  • Being involved is a great way to know the school and other parents
