Welcome back everybody!

Term: Autumn 1

Themed Learning: This is me, Who are you?

Week 1: PSHE
To know how to support friends and get help for them.
To be able to contribute to the life of the school.

Week 2 & 3: Geography
To find where they live on a map of the UK.
To use locational and directional language to describe the location of features and routes on a map.
To use simple compass directions.

Week 4: History
To understand how their own life is different from past generations of their own family.

Week 5: Science
Identify, name and draw the basic parts of the human body.
To say which part of the body is associated with each sense
.

Week 6 & 7: Art
To be able to use feathering to create soft lines and to know how to change these into darker lines once happy with the shading.  
To be able to create pattern using different tools and colours.
