Pupils met again in the spring to look at how they could make use of the amazing outdoor spaces we have in our academies.
The School council decided to focus on how they can have an impact within school.
To begin, the council members designed and created welcome packs for new pupils to allow their transition to be smooth and enjoyable. In addition, they worked with the PSHE Lead, to raise the profile across school and reintroduce, in some of the classrooms, a worry box – where pupils can write down concerns that a trusted member of staff can support them with.
During the Spring term – the School Council planted fresh flowers and improving the garden area.
During summer – the School Council began to run a lunch club to support pupils with positive play.
